Nature + Your Soul are calling!

Lake Tahoe is a super special place! I say this about nearly every nature haven I visit, but that is because nature is my church. It is what connects me, and so many of us, to ourselves, to each other, to something bigger than us. Nature and yoga are really good friends in my heart :)

And if you've been to Lake Tahoe, you know it's magic. The colors of water, the trees, the entire landscape is incredible. The mountain town vibe, the easy pace, the beaches and of course - the intentional yoga practices crafted for you here. Set for the season and the intention of rest, nourishment, and recharge.

Retreat begins Friday @ 1pm! We’ll do a 1.5 - 2 hour hike that begins near Tahoe City, where the house is located. You’re welcome to join the hike, or arrive anytime Friday evening, but the earlier you arrive, the more time you will get on retreat!

 

Itinerary 

THURSDAY

It is possible that if enough folks want to arrive Thursday night that we will rent the house one night early, and have the option to arrive Thursday instead. Let me know if this is you!

Friday

1pm - Hike. Take a walk in the woods!

3pm - Arrive at house, settle in to the space, explore the property, take a hot tub, sauna, read.. etc :)

5pm - Slow Flow Yoga // Weekend Intention Setting

6:30pm - Dinner

9pm - Yoga Nidra to prepare you for deep rest :)

Saturday morning

Quiet mornings until 8am

8am - 20 min meditation

Light breakfast available - coffee/tea, fruit, juice, eggs, toast.

Journal prompt before yoga for 5- 10 minutes.

9:30am - 75 min Rinse + release yoga on the patio. 

There are so many aspects of the yoga practice that I love. One of the great joys of being a student and teaching is sharing the sacred teachings and the philosophy of yoga as simply and authentically as I can with you, so you can learn, play with and infuse your practice and your life with these yoga teachings and guidance as it resonates with you. If you are a student of mine already you know I love to balance classes with deep philosophy and lightness, strong movement as well as gentle, graceful movement. 

This class + weekend will also be based on input from students if there's anything specific you want to learn about this weekend, be sure to let me know! 

Time to journal after yoga and chill.

12pm- Colorful lunch after yoga! Salads, homemade veggie burgers, and other delicious eats.

Saturday afternoon

3pm - 5pm Hike 3 miles around the lake.. Or.. chill at the beach that is 5 min from the house.

6pm - Sunset kombucha on the patio.. (cocktails are BYOB and welcome if you enjoy)

7pm - Beautiful farm to table dinner. Fresh catch fish +  fresh veggies.

9pm - Restorative stretching + Yoga Nidra to cap off the evening.

 

Sunday

The home is spacious, open and airy! Private pool, hot tub, patio + grill. A perfect place to wake up, watch the sunrise, practice yoga and more. 

Located in the NorthStar area of Tahoe, about 15 minutes to Truckee and 15 minutes to Kings Beach.

Transportation:

On every retreat I've lead, we've been able to work out sharing rides on the way up and back. If for any reason there is a large group that needs a ride and doesn't have a car, you can share a rental for the weekend. 

Food:

Often people’s unexpected favorite parts of the weekend :) I went to vegan culinary school and love to make beautiful food for retreats! All food will be vegan and gluten free, except for one night for dinner fish will be an option. It’s easiest to cook this way for everyone. If you have a strong prefer meat or dairy, just let me know and I can accommodate.
